Internet Strategy for your business

Last month we addressed using your website to increase productivity and the benefits of using dynamic tools such as Bonfire.

This month we want to review ways to use your website to serve your existing client base.

In any business, in any industry, the most profitable sale you make is to an existing client. So it makes good business sense to find ways to use your website to serve your existing clients. Essentially, your website can help you provide a higher level of service and that potentially leads to more sales.

For example, we provide a Tools page on our website that provides our clients with a variety of conveniences. Our clients can access information on email set-up and web stats, upload large files and even pay their invoice. The Small Business Resource Network, has a secure members area that allows paid members ( their clients ) to register for luncheons, purchase name tags, record referrals and update their own directory information. Many of our clients use their website as an information resource for their client base and that also gives them an opportunity to showcase their expertise.

What should you add to your website that will serve your clients? Ask your clients. That will lead to ideas that can be translated to a website function. If you want to brainstorm ideas, give us a call and we would be happy help.
